There is a global infrastructure crisis that exists around us which provides a huge opportunity in this sector.  Infrastructure worldwide is deteriorating in developed countries and much needed investment is required in emerging markets in order to facilitate economic growth.  According to a report by Deloitte LLP, the global infrastructure deficit exceeds $5 trillion with the United States facing a $1.6 trillion deficit to maintain existing infrastructure and the European energy sector requiring a $1.2 trillion investment over the next 20 years.  Existing / traditional public funding sources have been inadequate and the private sector is actively bridging the gap by investing in infrastructure assets.  The presentation will focus on equity investments in infrastructure projects and will cover the following: •        Characteristics of infrastructure assets (risk, duration, leverage, etc.) •        Valuation approaches for infrastructure assets •        Unique valuation considerations for infrastructure assets •        Value opportunities in the market place
